BikeWell rider Darren Southon of Tararua Builders Racing rides in solo on the last kilometres of Race 3 of the Trust House North Island Team Series on Sunday. An outstanding course which had a bit of everything: good climbs, good decents, grunty flats and to finish, twice on a 2km section of gravel. Like many of us Darren has discovered the intensity of competition coming into the area especially in the masters age group grades... which means signing up and finishing this race was a road racing accomplishment...Thanks Di Chesmar for the use of this great shot.
